Gamestop sucks, wen i went there the other week i saw them selling the hl package for 50 bucks used. I couldnt beleive it, even after hl 2 was released they dint lower the price. Even the guy workin there said its too high and not to buy it.
Eb games is good, the guys workin there are the most helpful ppl ive ever met.

Very, GS is only good for getting some cheap N64 games (if you're lucky)

And you might come across a good deal on used systems... but rarely..

That's a bunch of bull. I go to EB a lot more than I go to the local Gamestop. From past experiences EB has served me much better. *shrugs* Now everyone who has a special bow from EB can say "Hah, I went to an 'EB' before it became Game Botique" or something like that

i highly dout we will see much of change with EBgames.. they run too smoothly to change over to gamestops way of crappy sales. I too love EBgames not to say i havnt stoped at babages before to buy something.

This sin't Scizor this is his friend. I work for eb games and by Sept all eb games will be Gamestops. Unfortunately all of at eb wish this couldn't have happened and everyone that usually comes in that has found this out has told me personally that they won't shop at gamestop if they get rid of our store and its people like you guys that will keep you fav eb store there instead of it being closed. So don't give up on us because we will still be the coolest bastards that you could deal with and we really hope you will help us keep our foothold in the company.

They all suck, NONE of them discount or put games on sale, ever. Long live Amazon, Costco and Best Buys.

Agreed ... they've been phasing out their PC selection ... most of the stores I've gone to now just have this tiny little section way in the back of the store for PC stuff ... unless it's EA branded in which case it gets front facing prime location ...
